摘要: 邓小平“三个面向”的题词，是在我国改革开放初期社会主义现代化建设的背景下提出的，核心是要面向现代科学技术的发展，培养掌握现代科学技术的人才，为我国社会主义现代化建设服务。“三个面向”是我国教育改革和发展的指导思想。

Abstract: Thirty years ago, Deng Xiaoping put forward the three orientations of Chinas education, namely the orientation towards modernization, towards the whole world and towards the future. It was put forward in the background of building socialist modernization at the beginning of Chinas reform and opening to the outside world. The essential meaning of the idea is to cultivate personnel with good command of modern science and technology to serve for the socialist modernization in the scientific advancement in China. The idea of the “Three Orientations of Education” is the guiding principle of Chinas educational reform and development.
