摘要: 通过野外观察和资料收集与研究,分析了中国称为紫色土,美国称为始成土,联合国有关组织归之于岩性土或雏形土的土壤是同一类的土壤.针对"紫色土是否是只是分布在我国的一种特有土壤"这一命题,文章初探了它在国外的广泛存在,即紫色土是全球性的土壤.应该关注和研究全球性紫色土在不同地区和不同条件下的共同和不同之处,以促进紫色土在未来的农业生产和生态环境优化的可持续发展.

Abstract: Based on field observations and data analyses, this paper argues that the purple soil (Chinese name) is, in essence, the same soil as the inceptisol (USA name) and the regosols (in FAO publications).Discussing the proposition "Is the purple soil unique in China?" it insists that the purple soil exists extensively worldwide, in other words, rather than a regional soil, it is a global soil and should be investigated for its similar and different characteristics in various regions and conditions, so as to promote the sustainable development in agriculture production and ecological environment optimization of purple soils in the future. -
