Abstract: The 20th century's social transformation of China was on the whole an accelerating and reaccelerating process because of"the great leap of social development", which has resulted in the special developmental overlappedness in the new China's social transformion. The social transformation of the interplay between the revolution and evolution, with a fantastic spurt in its political developmental overlappendness and a great depression in its economic and cultural devel opmental overlappedness. The political developmental overlapp-edness, however, is based on its relevant economic and cultural developmental overlappedness. Therefore the reform and open-door policy has been carried out to tranafer its political developmental over-lappedness to its economic and cultural developmental overlappedness. The policy has been applied to satisfy the intrinsic requirements of the realistic social transformation and will give a farreaching impact on the realistic transformation of China as well.
