  • In order to overcome the drawbacks that the action running speed and network packet switching efficiency are both low of the traditional optical network terminal management and control interface (OM-CI) protocol stack ,a software system called improved OMCI protocol stack based on non-internal interloc-king water level MIPS network processors and the Linux system has been designed and presented .In the Linux kernel ,the data structure originally existing in the applications is realized by this novel system , which greatly enhances the levels of overall system responses and software integrations ,and it has much better practical engineering values .
