Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of combined application of the soil conditioner and compound microbial agent on the yield and soil quality of flue-cured tobacco, single-factor randomized block experiments were conducted. Four treatments were set as follows: single application of compound microbial agent, 300 kg/hm2 of compound microbial agent and oyster soil conditioner, 600 kg/hm2 of compound microbial agent and oyster soil conditioner, and 1, 200 kg/hm2 of compound microbial agent and oyster soil conditioner. The results show that the combined application of oyster soil conditioner and compound microbial agent can effectively promote the development of tobacco plant, as the plant height, effective leaf number, average leaf area and leaf area coefficient increased significantly. In addition, it can effectively improve the quality of tobacco-planting soil with significant increase in soil pH and organic matter content, utilization rate of alkali hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus and rapidly available potassium, and activities of acid phosphatase, urease, sucrase and catalase. In addition, the combined application of compound microbial agent and oyster soil conditioner can moderate the incidence of Fusarium root rot in the field to a certain extent. Among them, the final control effect of 600 kg/hm2 and 1, 200 kg/hm2 of combined conditioner reached 39.36% and 42.73%, respectively. In terms of economic benefits, the production value of flue-cured tobacco reached 48, 634.68 yuan/hm2 and 48, 553.54 yuan/hm2, respectively, after the application of 600 kg/hm2 and 1, 200 kg/hm2 of combined soil conditioner, which is significantly higher than that of the control group. Overall, the combined application of compound microbial agent and oyster soil conditioner can effectively improve the soil quality, reduce the incidence of Fusarium root rot, and increase the yield of flue-cured tobacco. Therefore, it has a good application prospects in the green prevention and control of root diseases in the future.
