摘要: Grass cloth is a traditional manual plain weave which is made of ramie ,its weaving technique is selected as China Intangible Cultural Heritage .Due to its excellent performance such as good hygroscopici‐ty and permeability ,high toughness as well as mothproof et al ,the development and utilization of grass cloth is being increasingly explored .Actually ,with the limitation of the material and machine ,grass cloth is unable to meet the requirement of general clothing tailor because of the small fabric width (about 60cm) .In this paper ,the relationship between function need of human body and clothing structure has been investigated .With the standard of the 160/84 woman's clothing model ,the structure design of clothing which is fit to the special fab‐ric width of grass cloth is discussed ,mainly by the cutting line and heterogeneous fabric stitching technology .
