Abstract: Southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus (SRBSDV, Fijivirus genus) occurs all year round during the rice planting season in Guanling county of Guizhou province, causing rice dwarfing without heading, which greatly affects rice yield and quality, and brings great economic losses to the rice growers.In order to provide reference for understanding rice diseases in Guanling county and improving the efficiency of rice disease control, the present article describes in detail the symptoms and the occurrence regularity of SRBSDV in the local environment and recommends practical control measures based on its actual incidence.
