Abstract
As one of most important agricultural disaster prevention and reduction system, plant protection system plays an key role in preventing and controlling crop diseases and insect pests, which ensures national food security. Taking Anhui, a large traditional agricultural province as a research sample, this paper analyzes and discusses the current situation and existing problems of the provincial plant protection system, including the aspects of institutional setting, personnel structure, and condition guarantee by consulting files, looking up archives and studying on site. We also put forward corresponding reference suggestions and countermeasures to promote the improvement of pest control ability and improve the plant protection system under the new situation.
