On Attentional Bias of Face Gender Affected by Menstrual Cycle

Abstract: The dot probe task has been adopted to research attentional bias and its composition of face at‐tention bias for male and female and female in different phase of menstrual cycle(menses phase ,follicular phase ,luteal phase) .The face stimulus are to be presented in 50ms .The result of this study show that there is no attentional bias of male and female to male and female faces .From the perspective of menstrual cycle ,luteal phase female has an attentional bias to female faces ,and luteal phase female has a larger at‐tention disengaged difficult to male and female faces than menses phase female ;menses phase female had a larger attention orienting to male faces than follicular female ,and menses female has an attention disen‐gaged easy to male faces .These results reveal that attentional bias to faces affected by menstrual cycle , and further clarification the view that female's mental‐behavior performance affected by menstrual cycle .
