  • An evaluation model has been established to assess the entire teaching process of zoology field practice by questionnaire investigation on biology science undergraduate of Southwest University in 2013 . T he result of assessment indicates that quality of the entire teaching process of zoology field practice reach‘good’ level ,w hich is consistent with subjective evaluation of the student .Principal Component Analysis indicates that learning gains is the factor the student concern most ,following by teaching ability and level , teaching attitude ,teaching methods and means .Two factor ,learning gains and implementation of teach_ing ,have been evaluated‘general’ by one quarter of the students .Future zoology field practice teaching should improve those two factors .Our questionnaire also gave suggestion to improve teaching of zoology field practice ,such as conducting centralized training before going field ,adjusting practice season ,increas_ing the number of teachers ,adjusting the focus of practice ,optimizing circuit for specimen collection .
