Abstract

College English learning has itsown special laws because of language learning situation, students modes of thinking andtheir structure of knowledge. To help students acquire language competence andcommunicative competence in college English teaching, this paper tentatively puts forwardsuch suggestions as perception and comprehension, consolidation and memory, andquasi-communication and practical application in the process of college English teaching.
