Unique Regions Penetrated with Unique Emotions: On the Regional Cultural Prose by Four Contemporary Writers

  • Regional cultural prose is written from the perspective of regional cultures. The factors of regional culture mainly come from two aspects: one is the object of writing, including natural scenery and human cultural scenic views, the other is the writer himself, observing that unique regions are penetrated with unique emotions. This paper analyses the regional culture prose by Yu Qiuyu, Susu, Jia Ping'ao and Zhang Chengzhi, mainly reveal their respective culture, namely Jiangsu and Zhejiang culture, Northeastern culture, Shanxi culture and Northern culture in China.

Abstract: Regional cultural prose is written from the perspective of regional cultures. The factors of regional culture mainly come from two aspects: one is the object of writing, including natural scenery and human cultural scenic views, the other is the writer himself, observing that unique regions are penetrated with unique emotions.
