On Dry-Wet Circulation under the Condition of the Purple Soil Area Planting Soil Shear Strength and Expansion Rate

Abstract: Purple soil of Sichuan Basin is the most widely distributed species .Because of rich in phosphor‐us ,potassium and other minerals ,purple soil is very rich planting soil .Purple soil has some swelling ,af‐ter seasonal dry‐wet circulation shear strength and expansion rate are in the process of decay .Purple soil in Chongqing area as the research object .Through under dry‐wet cycle test ,studied the shear strength and expansion ratio and the dry‐wet cycles ,dry‐wet circulation rate and the relationship between the moisture content .Provide the basis for purple soil region related engineering design values .
