“Disease” and “Prevention First” of Plant Protection Policy

  • “Preventive treatment of disease” is an important characteristic and advantage of traditional Chinese medicine and an important theory of prevention and therapy in The Medical Classic of the Yellow Emperor. The thought of "preventive treatment of disease" has experienced thousands of years of development from germination, formation, accumulation to maturity, which is the summary and sublimation of the combination of theory and practice of ancient doctors. Whether in medicine, animal medicine or plant medicine, "preventive treatment of disease" and "prevention first" have much in common. The present article discusses this issue from three aspects:the "preventive treatment of disease" concept of traditional Chinese medicine, the "preventive treatment of disease" concept of plant medicine and "preventing disease" vs "prevention first" in plant protection, so as to put the theory and method of traditional Chinese medicine "preventive treatment of disease" into the practice of plant medicine and plant protection theory and get better development.
