Application of Mixed Teaching Based on Rain Classroom in Plant Immunology Course

  • Plant immunology is an important elective course for undergraduates majoring in Plant Protection. It is of great significance for students to master the knowledge of plant disease resistance utilization and breeding. To solve the problems such as limited learning time, less interaction between teachers and students, and single assessment method in the traditional classroom of this course, and further improve teaching quality, the teaching team carried out innovative reform and practice on the teaching method of plant immunology using the blended teaching model based on Rain Classroom. Centering on theoretical and experimental courses, we designed the three-stage teaching process of online preview before class, synchronous learning in class and in-depth learning after class, and constructed a multi-dimensional course assessment system. The results showed that the blended teaching mode based on Rain Classroom can improve students' learning interest, class satisfaction, independent learning ability, and teaching quality. It provides a new idea for the subsequent curriculum reform of elective courses for undergraduates majoring in plant protection.

Application of Mixed Teaching Based on Rain Classroom in Plant Immunology Course
