  • The essential feature of playlies in performance, which belongs to the stage art. Only through stage production canscript writing be encouraged and be of great vitality. A play script should be of both theliterary feature and the theatrical feature, and only when both of them are inseparablyinterconnected can they benefit from each other. The two important elements(stage linesand stage movement) reinforce and support each other. However, stage movement is of moreexpressive power,more vividness and more direct observability. Stage lines are also a kindof movement. To require stage lines to be of rich movement is to intensify theirexpressive power. The technique of expression of stage movement varies according to theplaywright's school and style and the play script's type and form. However, stage movementwill never disappear, because it is the foundation of play.
