  • TheConfucianists advocates the theory of original goodness of human nature while theLegalists emphasizes the theory of original evil of human nature. Based on thisdifference, the Confucianists' and the Legalists' educational thoughts differ from eachother in terms of educational methods, educational contents, educational materials and theselection of educators. The two educational thoughts have constructed two differentsystems of educational theory, laid a foundation for the theory of human nature in ancientChinese educational theory and exerted a profound and far-reaching influence on thedevelopment of educational theory.
