Abstract

The theme of the poem A Night ofFlowers and Moonlight by the Spring River by Zhang Ruoxu is manifested by two key words:vitality and solitude. Vitality comes from unity; solitude results from seperation.Through the two words, the writer of the poem revealed the law of existence for all thingsin the universe and demonstrated the life consciousness and aesthetic ideal on the part ofthe aesthetic subject.
