Primary Conformation of Occupational Values of Normal University Students

More Information
  • Many studies inside and outside of China on occupational values of normal university students show that occupational values are constructed by four general dimensions: internal, external, power and social values. However, former studies have certain limitations on theoretical conformations, effects of values on behavior, research methodologies, and studies on normal university students are few and not systematic. The theoretical analysis and primary test of small sample demonstrated that the occupational values of normal university students are formed by eight dimensions: pleasant, self-improvement, relationships, family, contributions, power and environment. And the conformation needs to be further affirmed by empirical studies.

Primary Conformation of Occupational Values of Normal University Students

Abstract: Many studies inside and outside of China on occupational values of normal university students show that occupational values are constructed by four general dimensions: internal, external, power and social values.
