  • Based on years of practical experience in research and control of the tobacco diseases and pests in Yunnan, this study puts forward and summarizes the concept of three-dimensional control of tobacco diseases and insect pests. Based on focusing on the prevention and control of "4 diseases and 4 insects", considering other secondary important diseases and insect pests, a three-dimensional strategy for control of tobacco diseases and insect pests in Yunnan tobacco production areas was preliminarily established. This research aimed to focus on green plant protection, scientifically apply chemical control, and control the loss caused by pests and diseases within the economic threshold.

Abstract: Based on years of practical experience in research and control of the tobacco diseases and pests in Yunnan, this study puts forward and summarizes the concept of three-dimensional control of tobacco diseases and insect pests. Based on focusing on the prevention and control of "4 diseases and 4 insects", considering other secondary important diseases and insect pests, a three-dimensional strategy for control of tobacco diseases and insect pests in Yunnan tobacco production areas was preliminarily established. This research aimed to focus on green plant protection, scientifically apply chemical control, and control the loss caused by pests and diseases within the economic threshold.
