The Memory and Social Character of Primary and Secondary School Teachers in China in the First Few Years of Implementing Reform and Opening-Up Policy

摘要: 改革开放初期是一个承前启后的转折,开启了我国体制改革与社会建设的时代篇章。教育事业步入沉寂之后的恢复与发展阶段,教师的地位和声誉也随着拨乱反正工作的开展而得以正名。教师群体的荣光记忆形成于"两个尊重"的时代背景,在现实境遇扭转、社会风尚助推和正向身份体验的交互建构中逐步符号化。荣光与理想的社会记忆凝结着一代师者的主人翁精神,最终沉淀为中小学教师的社会性格,其中的价值导向和建构思路对我们当下的教师队伍建设具有参照价值与借鉴意义。改革开放初期教师队伍建设的成功可以概括为:在宏观上立足系统的政策导向和社会支撑,培育教师的主人翁精神,加强整个社会的爱国主义和集体主义教育,营造尊师重教的社会风尚;于细微处改善教师的生活境遇,强化"知识改变命运"的愿景。当下要从根本上解决教师队伍建设问题,就要优化顶层设计,考虑教师的精神与文化需求,在完善显性的培养与管理工作的同时,重视各个环节隐性支持系统及配套措施,体现教师队伍建设过程中的文化与人文价值,以合力形成教师正向的心态与体验,进而促进教师社会性格的培育。Abstract: The first few years of Implementing the Reform and Opening-up Policy in China was a transition period, which opened the era of reform and construction. Education began to recover and develop after years of "silence", and teachers' status and reputation were also justified with the development of the work of rectifying the chaos. The formation of the glorious experience of teacher's identity is due to the era environment of "respecting teachers and valuing education". Specifically, it is formed through the transformation of the reality situation, the promotion of media public opinion and the positive identity experience. These memories of the time eventually precipitated into the social character of primary and secondary school teachers, which shaped the unique style and characteristics of teachers at the end of collectivization. The value orientation and construction thoughts are of referential significance for the construction of our current Faculty.At the beginning of the reform and opening up, the success of the construction of teachers' team can be summarized as follows:Based on the systematic policy guidance and social support, cultivate the master spirit of teachers, strengthen the education of patriotism and collectivism in the whole society, build the social fashion of respecting teachers and valuing teaching; improve the living conditions of teachers in details, and strengthen the vision of "knowledge changes the fate". At present, to solve the problem of teachers' team building fundamentally, it is necessary to optimize the top-level design, consider the spiritual and cultural needs of teachers, pay attention to the implicit support system and supporting measures in all links while improving the explicit training and management work, reflect the cultural and humanistic values in the process of teachers' team building, and form a positive attitude and experience of teachers, then promote the cultivation of teachers' social character.
