Abstract: Interest is the basic category of public policy analysis, while realizing public interest is the most important goal of educational policy formulation. The interest analysis of educational policy includes the analysis of interest subject, interest demand, benefit realization and benefit result. From the perspective of interests, the problem of school selection is actually caused by the contradiction between supply and demand of high-quality educational resources, with the unbalanced distribution of educational benefits the fundamental reason. School selection represents a basic right of individuals, reflecting their interests. Increasing the supply of education services and reform the unreasonable way of education supply are useful ways to balance public and private interests.
