The Path of Training Outstanding Teachers: A Perspective of Teachers' Talent

  • As the "engineer of the human soul", teacher has an important influence on the development of students, so it is reasonable to pose higher requirements on their qualification and to attract more talented teachers to participate in education career. However, there is still no emphasis on teachers' talent in China, which is mainly reflected in the superficial recognition of teachers' professional, the defect of teachers' qualification examination system and the ignorance of teachers' talent during training. Attaching importance to teachers' talent is a real response to the improvement of teachers' quality, teachers' teaching effect and the professional development of teachers. To cultivate excellent teachers, we need to select talented students, guide the students' talents and meet the development needs of teacher in the training.

Abstract: As the "engineer of the human soul", teacher has an important influence on the development of students, so it is reasonable to pose higher requirements on their qualification and to attract more talented teachers to participate in education career. However, there is still no emphasis on teachers' talent in China, which is mainly reflected in the superficial recognition of teachers' professional, the defect of teachers' qualification examination system and the ignorance of teachers' talent during training. Attaching importance to teachers' talent is a real response to the improvement of teachers' quality, teachers' teaching effect and the professional development of teachers. To cultivate excellent teachers, we need to select talented students, guide the students' talents and meet the development needs of teacher in the training.
